A browser loop where Jev selects an operation and page element, with a text model handling field input.
Implementation overview
Each page observation becomes an indexed table of visible controls. Jev chooses an operation and compatible target in one TypeSafe request; a separate text model writes only when the chosen action is TYPE_TEXT. The local inspector shows proposed decisions and executed actions.
What you can test
Use it to test whether a goal can be completed through visible browser controls. The repository includes a Google Flights task that checks the route, date, and visible results without booking a flight.
What you need
The README starts with uv sync, a local .env containing your own TYPESAFE_API_KEY and TEXT_MODEL_API_KEY, and uv run jev. Chrome connects through Browser Harness and may request remote-debugging permission.
Limits and evidence
This is an early browser prototype. Its DOM reader does not cover shadow roots, frames, canvas, uploads, pop-up tabs, nested scrolling, or arbitrary keyboard widgets. A DONE decision still needs an independent outcome check; the published timings describe specific tasks, not a general speed guarantee.
