Implementation overview
This community monorepo embeds a Codex Router fork and sends a bounded decision state to Jev for model, effort, and route-lease choices. The selected model receives the full Codex request. The repository was archived by its owner on September 24, 2026.
What you can test
Use the source to study a local Codex routing design: a small Jev decision state selects a route while the executing model keeps the complete request. The repository also includes decision logs and a report command for examining what was actually served.
What you need
The current README requires macOS with Codex desktop, Node.js 22.19+, Python 3.11+, and your own TypeSafe API key. Its self-contained checkout supplies install.sh; a separate Codex Router checkout is no longer required. Review the archived installer before running it locally.
Limits and evidence
The repository is read-only after archival. Its roughly 60% savings figure comes from a historical 237-turn simulation under an older policy, not measured Codex quota saved or proof of the current policy. Quota fallback depends on compatible local routes actually being configured.
